Very helpful staff. Nice shaded sites with plenty of space and a cement slab between spaces. Like other reviewers, we really like this place. Very convenient to I-15 but far enough away that noise was not an issue. 30 minutes to Zion Canyon NP. Only downside was that there was only one men's and one women's shower/toilet. If it's occupied, you wait outside.
This is a model of what a good RV campground should look like. Plenty of space, fire rings, grass, level sites, tables, friendly staff, and very convenient to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Staff couldn't have been nicer. I needed some air in my tires and they wheeled out a compressor: no charge. Cable TV is only available in the Base Camp area.
A nice place to stay before going into Yellowstone. Campground is in the pine trees with plenty of space between units. There were fire rings and picnic tables at each site. Several trailers here belong to the Air Force for their personnel on vacations.
There's easy access to the pull through sites. Friendly staff and a very clean, quiet, park with lots of mature trees for shade. Only issue was that the laundry closes early in the evening and we couldn't get in.
This is a great RV park. The sites are paved and level with grass at each site and many mature trees around the perimeter and younger trees by the drive through sites. You get a 2 for 1 coupon for dinner in the casino restaurant and another for a thermos of coffee or bag of ice from the store. Beautiful views of the eastern Sierra. Free cable. Wifi is $5 per day. The park is a bit pricey but well worth it. We'll definitely return here.
Very nice staff. But there are a lot of long term residents here, many of whom leave for work at 5 a.m. in their diesel pick up trucks. That said, I don't know of any place in Winnemucca that is any better. Good for an overnight stay on the way to somewhere else.
This is a nice National Forest campground along the banks of the Truckee river. Most have shade though those closer to the highway tend to be open. Sites are paved and fairly level. Dry camping but there are water spigots scattered around. Good fishing. Fire rings and a table at each site. We stayed three nights and would return again.
Gravel sites. OK for an overnight but nothing beyond that. Showers are on 15 minute timers and require a coin you get at registration. Need to walk to the end of the bathroom to insert the coin then run back to the shower. Not the best situation. Trains run about 1/4 mile from the RV park. Heard them most of the night. Complimentary continental breakfast was a nice touch. Staff was friendly.
Office closes at 4 p.m. on Sundays. This park is less than two years old. Very clean restrooms and showers. Sites are paved and have a cement slab for chairs and tables. Pricey but very nice, spacious sites. Only downside is that the railroad track runs nearby and trains can be heard most of the night.
